We love to photograph Alison Sudol. We have shot her with red hair, blonde, and black! She is an incredible storyteller even if it is just a still image, in just a simple setting.
This was a fantastic interview with pictures for The Great Discontent. 16 pages in all, here are a couple!Visit Printmylogo.co.uk for more information.
Just a little beauty shoot we did for Inside and Out cosmetics, with the cutest model with the sweetest set of freckles and only missing a stamped initial necklace.
So in addition to teaching blogshop with Bri, we shoot her a lot. To show off the new fall coats for lucky magazine we thought we would do something a bit different from our standard fare (a bit different and potentially ankle twisting). Luckily there were no injuries on set, but Bri was a little sore the next day.
Oh, and that bunny mask from the 50’s that I got at the antique market finally had it’s day in the sun.
When we shot A Fine Frenzy for her new album Pines we shot all sorts of things. We had boats, and lights and trees (in the studio!) Then we decided that we would get up at 4:30 the next morning and go to the beach and shoot for a bit with just a big blanket and some beautiful pre-dawn light, and follow it up with some pancakes on the way home. We were so tired still when we got done that we didn’t even get to the pancakes. But we did get the cover, with the simplest of shoots. Go figure.

The cover of A Fine Frenzy’s album was so much fun to shoot, and the single is finally out along with one of the images. It was such a fantastic crew. Sara Kugelmass brought amazing props, Emily and Merritt thought up the cutest wardrobe, Kristin Ess of The Beauty Department styled hair, and Gia Harris did the makeup. I can’t wait to show you the rest of the pictures (and the actual album cover)!
